Am I missing anything?

Other than broadband... :( ... am I missing anything needed for playing on the SS BF42 server?

BF42 v1.4
Desert Combat v0.38d
BF42: RTR

I haven't seen mention yet of anything else I might want to grab while I have the bandwidth...

Be sure to check the Online Server Status on the forum to get the new maps installed on the server. Check Oreo's post for the links to the new maps. Install them as the Readme file tells you to or use the .exe files to do self install on the maps that have it.

I can figure out how to install most of the maps... I'm not a COMPLETE boob...errr.....Newbie... ;)

I just can't find anything that shows which maps are needed for the SS servers... plenty of speculation on some of the new maps/packs being released, but nothing saying which, if any, are installed on the two servers... Server status pages only show mods in use as far as I can see, download section is practically empty of BF42 stuff, and I can't find any posts that show a list of maps not in RTR, v1.4, Desert Combat, etc...

Looks to be about it. Make sure you DL the new maps. They are a kick in the pants.

I'm sure they are... Took me a while to find them at first though...

In case anyone else feels like joining in but is having the same trouble I was... look over HERE (http://www.shamikaserver.com/ssforums/showthread.php?threadid=1285) for the map list...
