SoC fix

Did anyone happen to see this fix they made for the signet of capture??

Changed Signet of Capture so that it now targets dead boss monsters. When you use the signet, you are presented with a menu of all of the dead boss monster's skills, and can capture any skill of your choice. This eliminates the need to keep boss monsters alive while trying to capture their skills, and will substantially reduce the difficulty of capturing certain skills that are rarely cast by boss monsters.

I have the signet but never used it before. Now that I know that I will give it a try..

Yep seen it and have captured two elite spells thanks to a dead boss. Now wherever I go I have a SoC loaded just in case

Where do you get the signet of capture?

you do a quest in Lions Arch to get the first SoC after the quest is finished you have another free soc then after that you have to buy them at skill vendors its 1 skill point and 20 gold per SoC I believe

Also, as I found out last night, you can use it on both your primary and secondary professions. I picked up an Elite skill on my primary ranger profession a couple of nights ago, and then last night, I picked up an Elite signet on my secondary monk profession. I didn't use or carry the capture signet at all before ascention, but now I don't think I will leave without one loaded again. The only downside I see to the 'cast after they are dead' thing, is when killing a final boss in a mission triggers a cut scene. That happened last night to me (fortunately I had already used my capture) when the final boss was a ranger and once he died, the cut scene triggered and there was no way to cast on him if I had wanted to. I don't know if you can still cast while fighting like the old way of doing it.

I think there are some guild mates that are going to need help with some missions tonight so we can always load up some SoC's and see if you can capture while still fighting boss's the worst thing that can happen is that you cant cast but at least at that point we would know.
